Joining the Government framework exposes Claritas Solutions to a wide range of public sector customers, including local, regional and national government.
G-Cloud 5 is the Government procurement framework that allows approved suppliers to provide the public sector with IT cloud services. Claritas has been accepted, releasing significant amounts of opportunities for increased business within this sector for the first time. Claritas now holds direct access to all Government departments through the framework including; devolved administrations, local authorities, blue light services, wide public sector bodies and arm’s length bodies departments; to quote for its extensive, Specialist Cloud Consultancies.
The Government’s aim for G Cloud is to simplify how the public sector buys and delivers services, by creating a marketplace for pay-as-you-go commodity services that can be easily scaled up or down, based on the changing needs of a business and its users, helping business become more flexible, agile, and responsive to changing needs economically.
Claritas believes this service expansion to its existing operation will help double its turnover and create a number of new jobs. This strategy for growth positions Claritas as a major IT contender for public sector contracts and provides the resources needed to operate at twice its existing size, with turnover to match. Currently, Claritas has a projected turnover of around £6M, and by 2015, this is expected to near £15M.
