The Cyber Essentials Scheme is part of the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy and accreditation demonstrates commitment to information security, providing assurance to clients and partners.
Cyber Essentials is a government-driven initiative to ensure cyber security for organisations. It is mandatory for many government and public sector contracts including several of Claritas’ customers. To obtain certification, organisations must undergo an independent assessment of the security controls they have in place to mitigate risks from internet-borne threats.

The Cyber Essentials Accreditation ensures compliance with the five government recognised levels of information security: Boundary Firewalls; Secure Configuration; Patch Management; Malware Protection and Access Management.
